A PERSONAL RESPONSE

Stimulus: “Some human activities are really harmful on the environment and are causing the global warming. As inhabitants of this planet, human beings should be forced to replace our environmental-harmful activities or don´t harm the environment on our benefit at all”.

My Personal Response:

The humans harm their environment. Pollution and global warming is a critical problem now and we have to take conscience about it. The Earth is our home we don’t have other planet. Dalai Lama said:” “It is our collective and individual responsibility …. To preserve and end to the world in which we all live”. I can infer if we don’t save it, next generation will haven’t a home. Pollution is one of the bigger killer, affecting more than 100 million worldwide. A lot of people die every years as a result of drinking unclean water because diverse factors (like factories) contribute with the pollution of rives and oceans. We don’t stop to fight to that problem, nation of different continents must create agreements of this problem like “The Paris Agreement”.  The global warming, pollution, etc., are prejudicial for the environment and for us.

The Stranger

One day a man came to Woodend. He was asking for help. He needed a place to spend the night. A woman helped him find a place to spend the night. The next day the man left. In a few weeks the man returned the people were shocked the man was looking for a house to buy.

I buy a house and open "the corner store". The man was called Dave. The business was very prosperous and soon the man needed an assistant so I hired Ana. But the store had a secret room only for "special orders" and that one could not enter.

One day came a famous actress named Greta Gordon and entered the secret room. She came out very agitated and asked him not to tell any of it. The next day Ana saw a news about Greta Gordon who had gotten a part in a great movie, but another actress suffered an accident.

Anna was engaged to Peter, but she also liked Dave. One day Ana went out with Dave and they kissed. One day another special customer named Mike arrived at the store. Day after Ana saw a story where Mike excelled but his opponent suffered an accident. Ana was curious.

One weekend Ana went to London with Dave, but Peter found out and ended up with her. Another special customer arrived his name was Arthur Riseman. Ana went to London to investigate about it. He was a manager of the ICS company. He soon learned that he would take over as general manager because of an accident where the former general manager died.

On the way back, Ana went into the secret room and found many things. She find different things like dolls and toys related to special clients. Dave appears and says to Ana: I wanted you to see this. Dave wants Ana to stay with him, tells him that he has powers but she refuses and escapes.

The next day Ana dawns badly and calls a doctor. Peter is coming, too. Outside, he saw as "the corner shop" burned with Dave inside. It was the last time Drave was seen. But when Peter came back with Ana, she was dead, too.

I think .....

The book "The Stranger" is the best and most interesting story I've read, why? Well, who doesn’t like a story in which the character is very mysterious?

The author: Albert Camus, tells the story by Ana, an ordinary girl who goes through very hard actions and investigations that lead to a simply shocking culmination that invites reading.

It all begins in a humble town called Woodend. But who thought that an unknown person coming for help ended up staying, opening "the corner store", a nice shop but with a dark secret inside it?

Along with the interaction of the famous guests of the "special requests" a series of incognita are detached from them and, through an astonishing description, Ana ends up discovering the truth that got the reader finished just as fascinated.

Simply exciting in its development, "The stranger" seems to be simple but is really careful and planned his writing. As Carl Viggiani said in 1956: It is a dense and rich creation, full of undiscovered meanings and formal qualities.

It is not new what is popular in this book. With an extremely entertaining story full of mysteries. Who would not want to read this book? If you are a lover of books and mystery stories do not hesitate to read "The Stranger".
